Message from the PTO President
The RMS PTO was revived in the spring of 2023 after a brief dormancy period during the pandemic. We are are looking forward to the 2023-2024 school year and hope to host informative speakers, informative programming, and community events. Right now the largest fraction of the PTO budget goes toward improving the RMS environment and helping staff and teachers. In the spring of 2023 the PTO coordinated “Teacher Appreciation Week” with four days of food, gifts and other surprises for teachers and staff. In the spring the PTO also hosted a school safety talk with Concord PD officers; created library signage and helped with the book fair; served on the RMS principal hiring committee; hosted a hot cocoa bar for staff and teachers; and assisted with planning and decorating for the 8th grade celebration.
The PTO remains committed to supporting the students, teachers and staff at Rundlett Middle School.
There are two ways you can help:
1) Financial Assistance so that our organization can provide speakers and materials to enrich the classroom experience for the students and teachers. Also, so that we can show our appreciation to our schools’ teachers and staff.
2) Volunteer! We have a number of positions to fill so that we can achieve our mission this year.
Thank you for your support,
Caitlin Sackman, PTO President
Teacher’s Lounge Refresh
We hope all of you have an amazing weekend after this short but busy week!
Our PTO President, Caitlin Sackman, organized a project to refresh the teacher’s lounge. It looks incredible and nobody is more deserving than our teachers! I’ve included the before and after pictures she took below.
